Leesing started as a general trading entity in 1951 at Blacksmith Street,Sibu by Mr. Ting King Mee. In 1971, the founder moved the whole business and operations to Miri.
Mr. Ting Ka Hing and Mr. Ting Kah Ong succeeded their father after his retirement.

Through the years, Leesing Group has diversified into the following industries:

Logistics service provider rendered by Leesing Logistics (E.M) Sdn Bhd and Merlin Logistics Sdn Bhd.
FMCG distributions rendered by Leesing Sales Marketing Sdn Bhd and Leesing Sales Marketing (E.M) Sdn Bhd.
Property development rendered by Leesin Sdn Bhd.
Metal works and iron galvanizing including construction various truck bodies and manufacture of container trailers rendered by Hap Jet Galvanized Sdn Bhd.

Today, Leesing is a major player in the logistics and FMCG industries in East Malaysia.
